The new unit is a Russian company that will be able to sell original Cannon equipment and spare parts in roubles, already cleared through customs procedures. It has a staff of 10 specialists providing technical and marketing assistance for the whole range of Cannon technologies, including polyurethanes, composites, thermoforming, and moulds, as well as its aluminium, energy, ecology, electronics activities. The move "puts Cannon even more in the front line of a market that is responding extremely well to our offer of innovative, reliable technologies," said Andrea Castellan, the project leader of the operation and recently appointed general manager of the new unit, in a 15 Nov statement.
