Milan, Italy-Italy's Cannon group has set up a new UK unit-Cannon Solutions (UK) Ltd -to distribute and service Cannon polyurethane moulding technology in the UK and Ireland. Cannon Solutions will be based in Stretford, near Manchester, with "qualified and experienced staff" to provide assistance to the existing customers and to continue developing new ones, said a Cannon statement. As well as offering commercial assistance and technical service the new unit will supply spare parts to polyurethane moulders in the region. Cannon Group has two other fully-owned UK companies: Cannon Viking, also in Stretford, Manchester; and Cannon Shelley in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. These two operations are active in the continuous slabstock business and in the distribution and service of thermoforming equipment, said Cannon. "
