Sikeston, Missouri – Carlisle is planning to invest $60m to build a 445,000 sq ft (4.1ha) plant to make its range of polyiso building panels in the US midwest.
Its construction will start this summer, and the first phase is expected to be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2023.
‘This new facility is not only an opportunity to bring more jobs to the area, but it allows CCM to better meet the needs of our customers in this important and growing region,’ said Carlisle CEO Chris Koch.
Carlisle chose Sikeston because it is well located to serve customers in the central US, said Nick Shears, president of the company’s construction materials business segment. He said that it would help get products to local customers more easily. The town is located about halfway between Memphis, Tennessee and St Louis, Missouri.
