Carlisle, Pennsylvania – Carlisle TyrFil is backing two new reforestation projects in collaboration with conservancy organisation American Forests. It is part of TyrFil’s ‘One Tote, One Tree’ programme, which aims to plant a tree for every tote of TyrFil flatproofing product purchased.
The company will plant seedlings to help repopulate forest territory in Virginia and Arkansas. In Virginia, red spruce will be replanted in the Jefferson National Forest and the George Washington National Forest areas. In the Oachita National Forest in Arkansas, shortleaf pines will be planted.

TyrFil is a polyurethane-based run-flat compound used for industrial tyres.
