Dallas, Texas -- Celanese Chemicals will raise the list and off-list prices for a number of its polyol products on 1 Oct.
The price of Celanese's trimethylol propane, molten and slurry neopentyl glycol, paraformaldehyde and butyl and methyl formaldehyde types called Formcel will go up by $0.10 per pound in North America, $220 per tonne in South America, Central America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East and €170 per tonne in Europe.
Neopentyl glycol flake will increase by $0.12 per pound in North America, $260 per tonne in South America, Central America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East and €210 per tonne in Europe.
Fifty percent formaldehyde will go up by $0.07 per pound in North America only.
