Birmingham, UK - Cellular Technology Europe Ltd, a polyurethane additive distributor, has launched a new PU flame retardant, a recent company statement said.
Celltech 60 is a low-fogging, low-VOC (volatile organic compound) emission, high molecular weight, phosphate-ester flame retardant, suitable for a range of flexible slabstock polyether and moulded foams, and "a good choice for flexible foams that must pass VOC/FOG tests," Cellular said.
The company recommends that Celltech 60 is used in the production of flexible polyether foams required to resist ignition from low-intensity flame sources and said it is ideally suited to automotive and furniture applications.
