Horgen, Switzerland – Ana Carolina Haracemiv is Dow's new head of polyurethanes in the Europe, Middle East, Asia and India region. She replaces John Penrice, who becomes president of Dow Asia Pacific.

Haracemiv takes the reins
Haracemiv was previously commercial director for polyurethanes, chloralkali & vinyl and industrial solutions in Latin America.
She will be responsible for developing the region's business strategy and growth agenda, as well as its implementation. She will also be giving commercial leadership to the business in the region.
Penrice is now based in Hong Kong. He said he was excited to take on new challenges, but that he had enjoyed running the European business.
'I have seen the business evolve and grow, and am proud to be leaving a legacy of a business that is delivering innovative solutions to customers with a strong focus on sustainability,' he said.
