Howell, Michigan — Release agents and ancillary moulding products maker Chem-Trend is expanding its HQ’s R&D facilities 50%.
An applied research laboratory, an analytical laboratory featuring advanced chemical analysis equipment and state-of-the-art industry-dedicated laboratories that service industry segments including polyurethanes, thermoplastics and die casting.
Completion of the project is targeted for mid-2017.
The company also announced its acquisition of Huron Technologies business, specialising in customised mould release agents and related products.
