Howell, Michigan - Release agent supplier Chem-Trend says it has developed the "next generation" of water-based release agents for the back foaming.
The new release agents will help improve customers' moulding processes, by providing a drier surface finish, better release and improved foam flow to reduce the amount of polyurethane needed to make a part, Chem-Trend said in a 5 Dec news release.
"In the past, it was difficult to eliminate the greasy, sticky residue left on a finished part surface by the release agent without sacrificing the formula's ability to release the part well," commented Amanda Pugh, polyurethane business development director. "With [these] release agents…, we can not only deliver a drier surface, but we've actually improved the ability to release while maintaining low build-up."
Chem-Trend of Howell, Michigan supplies release agents, mould cleaners, mould sealers and preparation pastes for the PU industry.
