Middlebury, Connecticut -- Chemtura Corp., debtor-in-possession has appointed Chet Cross has been appointed as executive vice president and group president, Engineered Products, effective 5 Jan 2010.
"Chet is an accomplished operations and general manager who is deeply committed to global leadership and accountability for results. He has a solid track record of margin improvement, new-product launch, top-line growth and increases in operating profit and EBITDA," said Chemtura president, chairman and chief executive officer Craig Rogerson, in Chemtura's 14 Dec announcement.
Cross was most recently at Ashland Corp., as vice president of operations for Ashland Hercules Water Technologies, primarily responsible for strategic oversight of the global manufacturing footprint and for the global operations and planning organisations.
