Passenger vehicle production in China was 2.2m units in October 2019. This is a 6.0% fall compared with October 2018, according to consultants LMC Automotive.
China auto production drops again in October
Looking at the year-to-date figures, LMC Automotive said that a total of 18.2m units were produced in the first 10 months of 2019. This is a fall of 11% compared with the same period in 2018.
The consultants estimate that in 2019, total passenger vehicle sales will be down by around 8%. The consultants suggest sales could fall to 21.2m units.
This is changed from the previous month. This represents a fall of 418,071 units or 8% on the previous October.
