Beijing – China exported 2.7m foam mattresses and cushions in November 2021, up 10% on November 2021, according to China’s General Administration of Customs. This compares to a 2% drop in October.
The weight of those exports in November rose by 6% year on year to 11,100 tons. The value of these exports shot up 19% from a year ago, to $66m.
China’s exports over the first ele11ven months of 2021 amounted to 34m units, up 27% from the same period in 2020.
The weight of exports during those 1 months was 113,300 tons, up 18% year on year. The export value rose by 34%, to $650m.
Japan remained China’s largest overseas market in value terms in November 2021, with $13m goods shipped, compared with $10m in October.
It has held the top spot since December 2020. The US was in second place with $9m, followed by Korea with $7m.
