Beijing – China exported 403m pairs of shoes in April 2020, down by 49.1% compared with April 2019.
Value of exports in April slipped 30% from a year ago to $1.9bn, according to China’s General Administration of Customs. This compares to 476m pairs of footwear exported in March 2020, worth $2.1bn.
In the first four months of 2020, China exported 2.1bn pairs of footwear. This is down by 30.6% from the same period in 2019. The value of these exports fell by 26.3% $9.6bn.
