Beijing – China exported $845m of mattresses and bedding products in November 2019. The number is down by 4.5% from November 2018, compared with a 1.3% year-on-year drop in October.
The downturn has continued for three months since September 2019, when the monthly export crashed by 9.7% to $834m, said China’s General Administration of Customs.
The total export value over the first 11 months of 2019 stood at $8.7bn, still showing a 0.9% gain compared with the same period in 2018.
China’s annual exports of such products in 2018 totalled $9.5bn, up by 12.1% from 2017.
