Vinhedo, Brazil -- Coim Brazil Ltda, a fully owned subsidiary of the global polyurethane chemical producer Coim spa, has completed the expansion of its production site in Vinhedo, Brazil.
The expansion includes additional capacity for flexible packaging adhesives, as well as cast elastomers and special alkidic resins, Coim said in a 13 May news release. The company did not disclose financial details.
"The new production units are equipped with the most advanced engineering and this investment marks another significant step of the Group's commitment to Brazil and the Latin America market," said Jose Paulo Victorio, General Manager of Coim Brazil.
The new capacity is already in operation and allows the company to offer its customers "a broader spectrum of novel polyurethane technologies," Coim said.
