Milan, Italy -- COIM, has announced the launch of Diexter E polyester polyols based on renewable raw materials.
The company says that the new grades are a result of research and development work by the firm’s research and development centre in Offanengo, Italy.
Coim has not disclosed the feedstock but said, the physical-mechanical properties of end products make these well suited to the polyurethane market.
The new polyols can be processed in standard equipment for both CASE and microcellular, flexible and rigid foams, said COIM. There is a wide range of materials in the Diexter product line, said COIM. Products made with 100% renewable content are available, the firm added.
