Greenville, South Carolina - Jim Coletta has joined JPS Industries Inc. as president of the company's Stevens Urethane division.
During the past 30 years, Coletta has held positions of responsibility in manufacturing operations, marketing, and sales, JPS said in a 10 Aug announcement.
Most recently he served as senior vice president, sales and marketing, for Plastican Inc, a manufacturer of injection-moulded plastic containers for the construction, chemical and petroleum markets.
"We are pleased to have someone with Jim's background, experience, and management style join our Company, and assume the responsibilities that Chuck Tutterow, serving as both president of Stevens Urethane and chief financial officer of JPS Industries, has managed since 2005," said JPS ceo Michael Fulbright.
Tutterow will remain with the company as cfo, JPS said in the statement.
Greenville, South Carolina-headquartered JPS Industries Inc. is a manufacturer of extruded urethanes, ethylene vinyl acetates and mechanically formed glass and aramid substrate materials for speciality applications.
