Riudellots de la Selva, Spain – Concentrol has completed the first phase of its plan to expand warehousing at its facility.
The mould-release and surfactant company said that it is building a new applications laboratory for demoulding agents and silicone surfactants for polyurethane foams in its warehouse number 5. This is 2,500 m2 in area. It is next to the existing number 2 warehouse.
The company has completed a new car park, and is building a flammable products warehouse. This will be able to store 1,500 pallets.
Concentrol added that it is preparing land for a new 4750 m2 warehouse. This will contain an area of 3,000 m2 for finished products. When complete, this will enable the company to free space in its current finished goods warehouse. This will become the reception site for raw materials.
Concentrol said that the changes will improve production flows through the site.
