Zurich - Heinrich Lanz, who has been group chief executive officer of Conzzeta Holding since 2002, will stand down from operational management at the end of 2008.
The Conzzeta board has started the search for a successor. Lanz will be on hand till mid-2009 to ensure a smooth handover and to take charge of individual projects, said Conzzeta's 29 April announcement.
Lanz plans to serve as a board member and consultant for corporate and strategic matters on behalf of other companies.
The Conzzeta Group owns the FoamPartner enterprise, which has two main foam-making operations in Europe - Reisgies Schaumstoffe GmbH in Leverkusen, Germany, and Fritz Nauer AG of Wolfhausen, Switzerland. The group also has foam joint ventures in the US and in China.
Other business units of Conzzeta are: Machinery and Systems Engineering; Sporting Goods; Other Industrial Activities; and Real Estate. In 2007, the group reported revenues of CHF 1507 million ($1490 million) and an operating result (EBIT) of CHF 132.1 million.
