Akron, Ohio - Waste & Recycling News is launching a new world-class business conference. The 2011 Corporate Recycling & Waste Conference (CRWC) is scheduled for 27-29 Sept 2011, at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando, Florida.
WRC says the conference focuses on how business executives can advance their organisations' sustainability issues while controlling expenses and maximising profits.
Co-organiser Republic Services Inc. is a national leader in recycling and solid waste management with units that serve industrial, commercial and residential customers.
The conference will feature speakers from general businesses, the environmental management sector and government, who will offer attendees a better understanding of how they can improve the management of their companies' waste streams and recyclables.
WRC says that "Attendees will walk away with knowledge and techniques that they can immediately deploy to make their business more sustainable with a focus on bottom-line results."
In addition to presentations, CRWC will provide high-energy networking forums and a table-top exhibit area to give attendees personal exposure to peers and colleagues.
"Our community of corporate business readers, that we served for years, now has a place to go to meet face-to-face and discuss the issues that keep them up at night," said Bob Simmons, publisher of Waste & Recycling News and founder of the CRWC. "We are pleased to be working with Republic Services again. Republic's experience working on green business issues with national companies brings a high level of expertise to this event."
