Tewkesbury, UK - Corus Panels and Profiles, a UK-based subsidiary of the steel producer Corus, is supplying 10 400-sq.m. of its new insulated composite roofing system, Trisomet 333 System, for new storage facility for Rainham Steel in Scunthorpe, UK.
Trisomet 333 is a "high-performance through-fix roof and wall panel," which consists of a Corus Colorcoat pre-finished steel external skin, zero ODP (ozone depletion potential) polyisocyanurate insulation core and a polyester-coated steel internal liner, an 8 Oct Corus statement said.
According to Corus, the roofing system offers "excellent thermal and air tightness performance," and can be fully recycled once the building reaches the end of its useful life span. (RD)
