Covestro declares force majeure on TDI at Dormagen
Dormagen, Germany – Covestro has declared force majeure on TDI in the EMEA region. This is a knock-on effect from the cessation of chlorine production at the site following an overnight leak of the gas on 6 August.
Reports suggest that the company expects it will be able to partially resume chlorine supply by the end of August. It remains unclear when it anticipates the force majeure on TDI to be lifted.
