Washington DC, US – The Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI) is looking for entries for this year’s Polyurethane Innovation Award. The award recognises companies and individuals who have used polyurethane to bring innovative technologies and initiatives to the market.
To be eligible, the innovations must have been brought to market between 18 June 2021 and 19 June this year, and must relate to polyurethane chemistry. It could be a product, some form of processing equipment, an initiative, or a training or education programme.
The entries will be narrowed down to a maximum of three finalists. These will be invited to highlight their innovation at this year’s Polyurethanes Technical Conference, which will be held from 25–27 September in San Antonio. Attendees will be able to vote for their favourite, and the winner will be announced at the end of the meeting.
Recent winners include Carbon for its partially biobased EPU 44 resin for 3D printing in 2022, and Huntsman and Pursell Agri-Tech’s PurActiv controlled release fertiliser coating in 2021.
