Washington, DC -- The Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI) of the American Chemistry Council said 2 Nov that it is now accepting abstracts for papers and posters for its 2012 Polyurethanes Technical Conference, which will be held in Atlanta, Georgia, 24-26 Sept 2012.
Paper abstracts are due 1 Feb 2012, and poster abstracts are due 22 Aug 2012. CPI says instructions, guidelines and templates for papers can be found on CPI's website, www.americanchemistry.com/polyurethane.
The CPI said that at the 2012 event in Atlanta presenters will have the chance to reach "hundreds of leaders and innovators in the polyurethane field," with 2011's events drawing nearly 800 attendees.
Presenters may address innovations and developments in any area involving polyurethane chemistry or use, including new products or uses; raw material or additive innovations; or breakthroughs in equipment design or operation. Criteria for technical papers include originality and relevance of the technology, while posters are judged on both technical and artistic merits.
