Nashville, Tennessee -- The US Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI) has issued a call for papers and posters for its annual PU technical conference, to be held on 26 - 28 Sept 2011 in Nashville.
Paper abstracts are due 18 March, and poster abstracts will be accepted until 22 August, the CPI said.
Papers and posters for the Polyurethanes 2011 Technical Conference may "address breakthrough technology in polyurethane markets or chemistry, developing markets such as medical or fibreboard, and product areas such as rigid foam insulation or coatings," said the CPI, which is part of the American Chemistry Council.
The criteria for technical papers include originality and relevance of the technology and clarity of the presentation, while posters will be judged on both technical and artistic merits.
The judges for both the paper and poster presentations will be industry veterans, subject matter experts and members of the media.
Submission instructions and paper guidelines can be found on CPI's website: www.americanchemistry.com/polyurethane.
