Washington, DC – The American Chemistry Council’s Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI) has announced four new chairs and vice-chairs for three of its standing committees.
Brian Karlovich will chair the product stewardship committee. He is Covestro’s senior product safety representative for product safety & regulatory affairs. Vice-chair of this committee will be Rosalyn Walker, product stewardship coordinator at Huntsman Polyurethanes in the Americas.
The sustainability committee will be chaired by Felicia Seyedkalal. She is regional sustainability specialist at Huntsman Polyurethane for the Americas. And Rohit Ghosh will chair the outreach committee. He is head of marketing construction for performance materials at BASF.
‘Our new committee leadership reflects the energy and vision needed to ensure CPI’s mission of promoting the growth of the North American polyurethanes industry is achieved,’ said Lee Salamone, senior director at CPI. ‘Their expertise and knowledge is crucial for effective advocacy, delivery of compelling benefits messages demonstrating how polyurethanes deliver sustainable outcomes, and creation of robust safety education and product stewardship programs.’
