Arlington, Virginia -- The Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI) has extended its deadline for submission of abstracts for papers for its Polyurethanes 2009 Technical Conference to 5 March.
Those wishing to present technical papers at the conference on 5-7 Oct 2009 at theGaylord National in Fort Washington, Maryland, need to submit an abstract by following the guidance on www.polyurethane.org/s_api/sec_events.asp?CID=934&DID=3649
TheCPI points out that papers and posters may address innovations anddevelopments in any polyurethane area -- including flexible slabstock,flexible moulded, rigid foam, soy-based polyols, polyurethanewaterborne dispersions, equipment/machinery, cast elastomers,thermoplastic polyurethanes, integral skin, reaction injection moulding(RIM), binders/fillers, coatings, adhesives, sealants and more.
Inaddition, CPI also encourages submissions on breakthrough technologyand innovations in polyurethane markets or chemistry, developingmarkets such as medical and fibreboard, and product areas such as rigidfoam insulation or coatings.
Presentation submissions also mayfocus on issues such as combustibility, transportation, recreation,security, as well as environmental stewardship issues, includingemissions, regulatory developments, waste management and related topics.
