Washington DC, US – Entries are being invited for this year’s Polyurethane Innovation Award. The awards, presented by the American Chemistry Council’s Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI), recognise companies and individuals who have introduced game-changing products, technologies and initiatives in the polyurethane sector.
“Versatile and durable, polyurethanes play a central role in modern life and solutions,” said CPI director Jason Sloan. “For nearly 20 years, CPI’s Polyurethane Innovation Award has recognised continual industry advancement and groundbreaking achievements that have improved military gear, streamlined colour coatings, and utilised 3D printed materials, and more.”
The 2024 award went to Woodbridge for its TrimVisible Bio sustainable automotive seating foam. Other recent winners include Wanhua, Carbon, and Huntsman & Pursell Agri-Tech.
The deadline for submissions is Thursday 19 June. Products must have made their market debut between 20 June 2023 and 19 June 2025, and entries from previous years cannot be resubmitted. Finished products, initiatives, training or education programmes, processes and processing equipment are all eligible.
The award will be presented at the 2025 Polyurethanes Technical Conference. This is being held from 6-8 October at the Hyatt Regency St Louis at the Arch in St Louis, Missouri.
