Washington, DC - Attendees at the 2012 Polyurethanes Technical Conference have an opportunity to learn from the industry's top experts during the polyurethane professional development programme (PDP), which returns at this year's conference.
Hosted by the US Centre for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI), part of the American Chemistry Council, the 2012 Polyurethanes Technical Conference will take place 24-26 Sept at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
This is the ninth year CPI has offered the polyurethane PDP at its annual technical conference.
"Participants in our PDP will broaden their technical knowledge and expertise as they learn from the best in our industry," said Lee Salamone, senior director of CPI in a 31 July news release. "This three-day program, which has become a staple of our technical conference, prepares attendees to tackle the latest industry issues and trends. It is a unique offering that cannot be found at any other polyurethanes conference."
The polyurethane PDP will begin 23 Sept, one day ahead of the official conference opening. During the three-day programme, attendees can choose from eight seminars on a variety of topics that run concurrently with the technical conference. Courses include introductions to PU chemistry, technology and products, as well as classes on markets and applications, and processing equipment. A detailed outline of each course is available online, CPI said.
