Washington, DC -- The US Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI) is asking for abstracts for papers and posters for the 2013 Polyurethanes Technical Conference, being held 23-25 Sept 2013 at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown in Phoenix, Arizona.
Paper abstracts are due 1 Feb 2013. Submission instructions and guidelines for development of papers and posters can be found on CPI's website, www.polyurethane.org. Poster abstracts are due 22 Aug 2013.
Papers may cover innovations and developments involving polyurethane chemistry or uses, including new products or applications; raw material or additive innovations; or breakthroughs in equipment design or operation.
CPI says papers and posters may also focus on issues associated with manufacture, use, handling, transport, disposal, and end-of-life of polyurethanes, as well as health, environmental and product stewardship issues. Regulatory and legislative topics, code and standard developments are also welcome as paper and poster topics.
Criteria for paper and poster topics include originality and relevance: the abstracts will be evaluated by a panel of experts.
