Washington DC, US – Entries can now be submitted for the 2024 Polyurethane Innovation Award. Submissions for the award, presented by the American Chemistry Council’s Center for the Polyurethanes Industry, are being accepted until 20 June.
It will be presented at CPI’s Polyurethanes Technical Conference, which is being held in Atlanta, Georgia from 30 September to 2 October.
To be eligible, products must have made their market debut between 19 June 2022 and 20 June 2024. Previous entries cannot be resubmitted. Finished products, initiatives, training or education programmes, processes and processing equipment are all eligible.
Last year’s award was won by Wanhua, for its Wannate 9131FC MDI-based prepolymer binder for moulded wood pallets created from a range of waste feedstocks. Other recent winners include 3D printing resins, coatings and waterproof foam products.
