London -- Crain Communications Ltd, publisher of Urethanes TechnologyInternational, will be promoting its UTECH Europe 2012 exhibition andconference during the 2011 technical conference of the US Center for thePolyurethanes Industry, to be held next week in Nashville, Tennessee.
Thenew North American sales manager for the UTECH events and for UrethanesTechnology International, Ed Rich, will be on hand with a table-topdisplay, to keep polyurethanes experts in Nashville up to date with thenewest details of the UTECH Europe 2012 event.
Copies of the latest issue of Urethanes Technology Internationalwill be available, and editor Liz White will also be attending to reporton significant trends in the North American polyurethanes market.
Delegateswill be able to get details of the three-day conference programme forthe Maastricht event, being held at the MECC (Maastricht Exhibition andConference Centre), 17-19 April 2012.
An extensive series of technical presentations from leading companies inthe sector are on offer at the UTECH Europe conference, as well as sessions on safety and health inthe PU sector, organised by ISOPA (the European Diisocyanate and PolyolProducers Association, and one on polyurea, from the PDA-Europe group.
The conference will open with a welcome from the president of ISOPA,underscoring the dynamism of the industry's most recent past, and thekeynote presentation will be given by Jiansheng Ding, chairman of YantaiWanhua Polyurethanes Co. Ltd, China's leading PU raw materialssupplier, now also involved at an international level following itstakeover of BorsodChem Rt, the Hungarian isocyanate maker.
Since 2012 is a special year for the whole of the polyurethanesindustry, marking the 75th anniversary of its creation with Prof OttoBayer's first patent on the material in 1937, the plenary session willcelebrate this through reviews of major milestones and future prospectsin production of its key raw materials.
