Goole, Yorkshire -- Croda Coatings & Polymers has extended its range of 100-percent bio-based Priplast polyester polyols with a semi-crystalline Priplast 3293.
Priplast 3293 is 100-percent bio-based and its availability broadens the amorphous Priplast range "to meet the market need for high demanding polyurethane applications," Croda said in a March news release.
Croda will showcase the range at the UTECH Europe 2012 event, 17-19 April in Maastricht, the Netherlands.
The bio-based Priplast range of polyester polyols gives polyurethanes more durability with a unique combination of thermo-oxidative, UV and hydrolysis resistance, Croda said. They also have moisture repellency, flexibility at low temperatures, adhesion to a wide range of substrates, including low polarity plastics, as well as excellent flow properties with efficient substrate wetting.
