Skelmersdale, UK – CRP Subsea has expanded its Lancashire-based polyurethane moulding facility. The company made the investment to meet increasing demand for its cable protection products, particularly for the offshore wind, oil & gas, seismic and telecoms sectors.
Two new state-of-the-art semi-automatic moulding presses have been installed. The site produces the company’s Uraduct cable protection system and engineered mouldings used to protect cables in offshore environments.
“This investment enhances our capability to meet the rising demand for cable protection solutions and positions us to serve our customers more efficiently,” said Ray Cann, the company’s operations director. “We anticipate that this expansion will lead to a 100% increase in moulding capacity, a crucial step forward in our journey to better support our customers.”
