Bethesda, Maryland -- The Adhesive and Sealant Council (ASC) says that John McLaughlin, president and ceo of DAP Inc, has joined the ASC board on 9 Nov 2011.
DAP Group is a division of RPM International, and McLaughlin has been its ceo since 1994. DAP is a leading manufacturer of caulk, sealants, patch, repair and adhesive products for the professional and do-it-yourself markets.
McLaughlin "joins the council's leadership at a time when new programming ideas and value propositions are being developed, and we look forward to his ideas and energy to help drive the council to new heights of success."
DAP is headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland, where McLaughlin is involved in the local community and serves on several boards including the Associated Catholic Charities, Collegebound Foundation, and John Hopkins University Carey School of Business, Corporate Advisory Board.
McLaughlin is also Member of the Maryland Economic Development Commission, having been appointed by Governor O'Malley in 2008 and re-appointed in 2011.
