Washington, DC - The US Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI) says deadlines for its 2013 polyurethanes technical conference are fast approaching.
The association, part of the American Chemistry Council, added that time will soon run out to submit poster abstracts, receive discounted registration for the conference and hotel, and register for the polyurethane professional development programme.
The conference will take place 23-25 Sept at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel in Phoenix, Arizona.
"This year's conference is shaping up to be one of our best," said Lee Salamone, senior director of CPI in a news release. "We've expanded our professional development opportunities, and have lined up an impressive number of technical presentations on the latest key issues and topics from industry leaders.
Poster abstracts for this year's conference must be received by 22 Aug. Accepted posters will be showcased over the course of the three-day conference, and will address a variety of issues.
CPI added that attendees can save $200 with early registration, which is available until 30 Aug. Discounted hotel reservations are also available until this date.
The polyurethane development programme, an education and training opportunity for those in the industry is a three-day event that starts 22 Sept, one day ahead of the official conference opening. Participants must register for the conference and then register for courses on the development programme, CPI advised.
