Monroe, Ohio -- Deceuninck North America llc is partnering with JP Industrial Products on a recycling programme.
JP Industrial, a Lisbon, Ohio-based recycler of PVC (polyvinyl chloride), will take end cuts and other scraps from Deceuninck's fabricators and provide recycled content that Deceuninck can use in new windows and other products.
Monroe-based Deceuninck launched the programme on 1 Sept.
"We have a zero-waste goal, and our partnership with JPI will help us meet this goal by reclaiming unused product that might have otherwise ended up in the waste stream," said Filip Geeraert, president and ceo of Deceuninck North America, in a news release.
Deceuninck recently launched a window-frame range using polyurethane composites for thermal reinforcement. The PU material is a better performance alternative to aluminium reinforcement in PVC windows and door profiles, the company claims.
