Monroe, Ohio -- Deceuninck North America is to present its Innergy rigid thermal reinforcements technology at the forthcoming Applied Market Information's (AMI) 11th annual Profiles conference in Philadeliphia, Pennsylvania.
The presentation by Jon Hauberg, director of product research and development Deceuninck, will look at advancements in window profiles.
Deceuninck, a manufacturer of high-quality systems for windows and doors, will focus on its Innergy project, the result of a collaboration with polyurethane resin manufacturer Bayer MaterialScience llc.
The collaboration brought together Bayer's expertise in custom polyurethane resin system development and Deceuninck's long experience in design and manufacturing, the company said in a 6 June news release.
"One of Deceuninck's driving principles is our commitment to introducing innovative products and technologies, and Innergy is a perfect example of that commitment," said Filip Geeraert, ceo of Deceuninck North America.
Innergy, which was introduced to the market in September 2011, was developed as a better-performing alternative to aluminium reinforcements for PVC windows and door profiles, Deceuninck said. The company claims that it offers the same strength and durability of aluminium, but with unprecedented levels of thermal performance.
