Düsseldorf, Germany-Deguss AG's Coatings & Colorants Business Unit will be increasing prices for its Dynacoll adhesives raw materials, used in polyurethane hot melts adhesives and sealants, by 7 percent on 15 Jan 2005. Degussa said that structural changes in the raw materials markets have led to sharp increases in raw materials costs, "while demand remains high-a trend that persists in early 2005." The Düsseldorf-headquartered chemicals group added that "at least part of these costs must therefore be passed on to our customers … to ensure the continued viability of this product group."
