Atlanta, Georgia - US company Demand Foam Systems is offering foamers a US-made CNC machine, with "off-the-shelf" parts, which it says is made using "American ingenuity" and the latest CNC technology for cutting flexible foam.
The system is designed for commercial production with minimal down time, and other than the welded steel frame, all the mechanical working parts are "off-the shelf" from multiple stateside companies, Demand Foam said.
"Likewise, the electronics, controller, computer and software are openly available and upgradable," the company added, so that users will not suffer, "long down times while parts are shipped in from around the world."
The CNC (computer-numerically controlled) machine also has user-friendly software which allows easy setup for parts arrangement, cutting, order position and nesting interfaces, Demand Foam says.
"This is the only blade machine we know of that allows the customer tobe independent from the manufacturer for repairs and upgrades"commented Craig Barnaby, vice president of sales for Demand Products,in the company statement.
