Arlington, Texas - Insulation supplier Demilec comments that an article in the Journal Sentinel reports new home construction rates are on the rise across Wisconsin.
The findings are good news for a housing market that has been attempting a nearly six-year resurgence, said Demilec USA, noting the importance of these figures to both building contractors and suppliers.
The article said new home building permit requests increased by 33.7 percent from August 2011 to August 2012. The data, from MTD Marketing Services of Wisconsin Inc., looked at permits for single-family homes and duplexes, and focused on urban areas such as Milwaukee, Racine-Kenosha and Green Bay County.
As construction rates rise, so will the need for building materials such as insulation. Manufacturer of spray foam insulation products Demilec USA commented: "Considering Wisconsin's cold climate, insulation and the building envelope are very important decisions for homeowners and builders in this market. Spray foam insulation offers many advantages to help reduce energy bills and operating costs, while improving interior comfort. DEMILEC USA sees the growth of this market as a positive sign toward developing new business relationships."
