Auburn Hills, Michigan – Destaco has introduced a new line of polyurethane vacuum cups. The cups are said to offer improved traction, enhanced durability and higher throughput for high-speed press rooms and crossbar applications.

The cups have an anti-slip tread pattern made from a high-performance polyurethane to give increased friction, a faster grip, and better holding on oily surfaces. The material also extends the cups’ shelf-life, Destaco said.
“Lighter solutions that offer higher holding power give customers the best opportunity to increase their throughput,” says Destaco global product manager for end effectors, Ben Pauzus. “Not only are production increases recognized through the ability to increase transfer speed, but the polyurethane material is more durable, allowing for less downtime.”
The line includes four styles of cups in 17 different sizes to accommodate modular requirements.
