California, US – Diamond Mattress has been awarded Greenguard Gold certification for its mattresses. These are manufactured at facilities in Rancho Dominguez, south of Los Angeles in California, and Fort Worth, Texas.
The certification has been granted for its full range of mattresses, including foam and hybrid models. Greenguard Gold, awarded by UL Solutions, confirms that products comply with strict limits on VOCs and total chemical emissions. More than 300 VOCs linked to indoor air pollution are included in the list.
The mattresses are sold under its own brand names, and as private label products. It uses Certipur-US certified foam.
“This milestone represents a vital commitment for Diamond Mattress as we pursue our broader sustainability goals,” said Shaun Pennington, Diamond’s CEO. “We’ve long embraced practices such as using recycled fibre pads and steel, and recycling foam and fabric waste from production. This certification is another step forward in creating sustainable, health-conscious products.”
