Houston, Texas - Dorf Ketal is now the exclusive source for Vertec polyester catalysts and Snapcure polyurethane catalysts and cure promoters.
With effect from 1 April, Dorf Ketal, which makes organic titanate and zirconate catalysts, has acquired patents and related intellectual property for these products from Johnson Matthey.
Dorf Ketal said in an 18 April statement that it is "already ramping up production in state-of-the-art reactors at our new Mundra plant in Western India. We expect production to be fully underway by July."
The company added that Vertec and Snapcure products are "an important addition to our broad line of Tyzor organic titanates and zirconates," claiming that the new products will now be available from "the world's largest supplier of these compounds.
Dorf Ketal says it is the largest Indian additives manufacturer of process chemicals and additives used in refineries, petrochemical plants, plastics additives and lube additives.
