Dingley, Australia - Polymer part maker Dotmar Engineering Plastics Pty Ltd of Dingley, in Victoria, has appointed Malcolm Dennis to manage its office in Tasmania.
Dotmar, which makes a wide variety of components from engineering thermoplastics and polyurethanes, said that Dennis has an extensive background with a range of industrial markets across Tasmania and offers the company, "an enormous level of experience across numerous industrial sectors."
In his new role, Dennis will help Australian company Dotmar provide a greater focus in a region "full of potential for a range of engineering plastics, conveyor products and polyurethanes, said the organisation.
"Our vision is to open Dotmar's newest branch in Hobart and provide greater levels of service and market focus," said Scott Foster, group general manager for Sales & Marketing, with Dotmar Engineering Plastics, in a company press release.
Dotmar EPP is a privately owned business focused on the use of thermoplastic materials and conveyor products in engineering. Set up in 1967, it has five branches each in Australia and New Zealand, and now sees itself as the leading supplier of engineering thermoplastics in stock shapes, machined plastics parts and conveyor products in Australia.
