Midland, Michigan -- Dow Chemical Co, has announced price increases for all polyurethane market segments and end-use applications in the US, including:
• All its MDI (methylene diphenyl diisocyanate) products (Papi, Isonate and Isobind products) by $0.05/lb;
• All grades of polyols (Voranul, Voralux and Specflex) by a total of $0.10/lb: and
• TDI (toluene diisocyanate -- Voranate by $0.05/lb/
Dow said in a 16 Jan email to UTI that the rises are the result of "continued escalation in raw material costs."
These price increases take effect 15 Feb 2013, or as contracts allows, and are in addition to all previous announcements.
