Birch Vale, Derbeyshire - Dow Hyperlast's Trafficdeck TD waterproofing and anti slip surfacing system has been selected by O'Flynn Construction as the protective coating for the second car park of a new development in Ballincollig, Ireland, a recent Dow statement revealed.
According to Dow, the system is a 4-coat, high-build, lightweight system, which includes a spray elastomeric membrane, and offers "unmatched system thickness, ability to manage awkward detailing, fast application, swift return to service and application at low temperatures." The system is odourless and contains no solvents, Dow added.
Dow's Trafficdeck TD system is already in use on the deck of the first car park in the new development in Ballincollig, bringing the total area covered to 6000-sq.m.
Dow Hyperlast, a subsidiary of the Dow Chemical Co., is a developer of polyurethane materials for engineering polymers and systems. (RD)
