Midland, Michigan – Dow has completed a project with Kraiburg Relastec to power a new running track exhibit at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland.
The Sportec Uni versa running track and surrounding floor covering uses Dow’s Voramer polyurethane binders. This technology was used in the 2012 London Olympic Stadium. The company said properly formulated mixtures with Voramer gives tracks that have properties that will suit both printers and long-distance runners.
'We’ve worked together [with our customer Kraiburg Relastec] on a flooring solution with comfort and design,' said Mohammed Sami, Dow’s industrial segment marketing leader for EMEAI. 'It is perfectly suited to help meet the needs of the museum’s interactive exhibit.'
