By David Reed, UT EditorHorgen, Switzerland-The Polyurethanes business of The Dow Chemical Co aims to raise its prices in Western Europe for toluene diisocyanate (TDI) and polyols for flexible foams by €100 per tonne from 1 April. Prices for MDI (methylene diphenyl diisocyanate) and polyols for rigid foams will increase by €150 per tonne from the same date. Similar price increases are also being implemented in North America, the Middle East, Africa and the Indian subcontinent, according to statements from the firm."
