Heerlen, The Netherlands - The Materials Science side of Royal DSM NV has made some changes to the management of its NeoResins+ unit.
Steve Hartig will become director of DSM NeoResins+, which makes a range of resins for coatings, including polyurethane types. In this role Hartig will report to Dimitri de Vreeze, who is moving from head of the Neoresins+ unit to become director of DSM Resins.
Hartig's current role as president of DSM Biomedical will be taken by Christophe Dardel, from 15 May 2010.
The present director of DSM Resins, Ben van Kooten, is retiring after a successful career at DSM of more than 35 years.
De Vreeze will work with van Kooten in a transition period and will assume responsibility for DSM Resins at the beginning of Q4 2010.
